Job summary

Stern at Home Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to provide home-based OT services across North Buffalo and Cheektowaga, NY. You will evaluate and treat geriatric patients in their homes, focusing on daily living activities and functional tasks with strong clinical autonomy.

Minimum commitment of 10 patients, with administrative support for referrals, scheduling, authorizations, and patient coordination. Flexible part-time scheduling and W-2 and 1099 options are available.

Qualifications

• Active NY OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluations and develop plans of care.
• Deliver one-on-one OT treatments in patients' homes.
• Improve independence with activities of daily living.
• Address upper-extremity strength, ROM, coordination, cognition, safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and safety.
