Job summary

MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to join our PM&R team. You will plan, administer, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy across programs and age groups, from infants to geriatrics, in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring compliance with Iowa licensing and NBCOT certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to function as an occupational therapist across all age groups.
• Ability to give clear instructions to individuals and groups from infant to geriatric.
• Ability to plan day-to-day activities and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy across PM&R programs for all age groups.
• Provide direct patient care from infants to geriatrics in accordance with department protocol.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure patient-centered, quality care.
