Job summary

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• Valid occupational therapy license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, set goals, and plan discharges based on patient needs and family input.
• Execute treatment plans, select appropriate activities, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and referrals.
• Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge plans following departmental guidelines.
• Apply AIDET principles, foster teamwork, and ensure respectful, positive experiences for patients and staff.
• Engage in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and participate in orientation and training activities.
