Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks a dedicated technician to assist in labor, delivery and recovery. You will perform surgical scrub duties, support OR staff with obstetrics procedures, and help with patient care before and after surgery.

This role is part-time and emphasizes patient safety and teamwork. Required BLS certification with CNA credentials; preferred to have Surgical/Obstetrical Technician certification and an associate or technical degree.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation of patient rooms and aseptic setup for procedures.
• Assists the surgical team during operative procedures and passes instruments.
• Supports delivery nursing staff with patient preparation, positioning, and transport.
• Records maternal vital signs and I&O; performs basic patient care activities.
• Transports and discharges patients and assists with turnover of rooms.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
