Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Nutrition Assistant in the Ft. Thomas Nutrition Services department. This part-time position handles utensils and dishware, prepares meals for patients, and delivers nourishment to patient areas. Schedule includes 12.5 hours with a Split 1/2 shift, every other Monday/Friday and every other weekend.

The role emphasizes respectful patient interaction and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and retrieve room service meal carts and stock to patient care units.
• Prepare and assemble foods for patients.
• Assemble patient meal trays and nourishments.
• Restock clean dishware in cafeteria, cook’s and room service line areas.
• Perform janitorial tasks and sanitation to keep work areas clean.
