St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Nutrition Services Specialist to join our Ft. Thomas Nutrition Services Team. Shift is part time (16 hours) on the second shift, with schedule on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and every other weekend from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Responsibilities include patient meal service, nutrition assistance, call center duties, and various food service tasks. You will support with daily operations and patient care while upholding sanitation and diet standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months experience including customer service responsibilities.
• Ability to read with comprehension and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves meals and between meal nourishments to patients; follows service standards.
• Instructs patients on meal ordering system and assists with diet restrictions.
• Acts as liaison between Nutrition and nursing units; communicates patient needs to departments.
• Performs role of ambassador; orients patients to menu and delivers meal trays.
• Prepares patient trays and ensures correct placement and presentation of meals; adheres to diet specifications.
• Checks meal items for quality and dietary compliance; ensures timely dispatch of meal carts.
• Records nutrient intake and supports quality control for the room service program.
