A local community organization in Columbia County is seeking a dedicated Nutrition Aide Substitute to join their Head Start team. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with experience working with young children. A valid PA driver's license is required for the role, which operates during the school year from August to June.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, OR, an eighth-grade education and two years of experience in a related field.
• Preferably have had direct experience working with young children.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and portion nutritious meals for children.
• Serve meals to classrooms with care and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
• Order food and supplies when needed during your substitution timeframe.
• Foster positive relationships with staff and children, following PBIS principles.
