Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of nursing practice as an RN within the last five years is required.
• Excellent communication skills with high initiative and prudent judgment.
• Professional nursing licensure is required in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students based on course objectives.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and needs.
• Corrects and returns homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments and other written work promptly.
• May teach didactic content under supervision of course coordinator.
• Keeps the course coordinator informed of student and agency issues.
• Collaborates with administration and faculty to improve operations and student satisfaction.
• Supports the College Assessment Program and retention initiatives.
