SUNY Niagara is seeking Nursing Tutors to support students enrolled in NUR 211. Tutors provide assistance on Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Cardiac and Respiratory topics, with sessions Tue and Thu around lectures.

The role offers paid orientation, observation of lecture content, and the chance to join the course for the first five weeks to become familiar with content and support student success. Prior tutoring or teaching is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Recent clinical experience within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Cardiac and Respiratory topics.
• Convey concepts in multiple ways to accommodate various learning styles.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming environment and strong communication with diverse students.
