Job summary

The Center for Academic Success & Enrichment at MCPHS Worcester is seeking a part-time faculty (professional) tutor for the School of Nursing – Worcester. The tutor will provide remote and/or in-person support for BSN Postbaccalaureate nursing students, addressing Foundations in Nursing and Health and Wellness IV: Advanced Med/Surg.

Qualifications

RN license and BSN required
Commitment to undergraduate and professional education
Proficiency with educational tech including LMS and MS 365
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and interact with diverse stakeholders
Teaching or tutoring experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide supplemental tutoring for nursing coursework (Foundations in Nursing, Health and Wellness IV: Advanced Med/Surg)
Meet with students by appointment virtually or remotely
Provide post-session work to assess understanding
Collaborate with course instructors to determine action plans
Provide feedback to students on progression in subject matter
Provide feedback to program director on student progress
