Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to document in the EMR with established protocols.
• Ability to acquire patient vitals including HR, RR, BP, SpO2, weight, height, and temp.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comply with HIPAA, universal blood and body fluid precautions.
• Support nursing team to improve patient flow, quality of care, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Document in the Electronic Medical Record while following established protocols.
• Acquire patient vital signs including heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, weight, height, and temperature.
• Work under provider direction to accomplish patient care tasks and maintain workflow.
• Determine necessary paperwork for appointments and assist patients with forms.
• Participate in care center protocols including HIPAA and universal precautions.
