Job summary

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Faculty member for the School of Nursing starting in the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include delivering instruction in classrooms and clinical settings for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a valid Texas RN Licensure. Teaching experience is preferred, along with evidence of teaching effectiveness. This position is part-time and on a semester-to-semester basis based on enrollment needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Unexpired Texas RN/APRN Licensure report required.
• Two years teaching experience at baccalaureate/graduate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction to students in classroom and clinical settings.
• Teach in Bachelor’s and/or Master’s programs.
• Provide simulated laboratory experiences.
