Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and enrollment in a Master’s of Science Nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Experience with high‑fidelity medical simulation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up computerized scenarios, simulators and other required equipment for scheduled labs.
- Design, plan, and implement simulation scenarios that align with the nursing curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Operate and maintain high‑fidelity simulation equipment, mannequins, and software.
- Coordinate simulation lab schedules and learning activities with nursing faculty.
- Oversee regular maintenance and repair of simulation equipment.
- Teach nursing concepts through simulation in collaboration with other faculty members.
- Facilitate student learning by creating realistic, engaging, and safe simulation experiences.
