Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct Nursing instructors to teach in the Nursing program at the Orlando campus. The role allows you to continue practicing in the field while exploring academia and guiding the next generation of nurses.

No prior teaching experience is required; training is provided. Part-Time, 10-15 hours per week per course, with compensation based on course types and schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• 1-year clinical RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Active RN licensure without encumbrances.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Active CPR certification required; immunization documentation.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned (on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations).
• Use effective teaching strategies and multiple teaching techniques; create an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered learning including live classroom tools to hold synchronous sessions.
