Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree from an accredited college/university including nursing, education, or administration.
• Direct patient care experience within the previous five years in the nursing area to which you are assigned.
• One year of RN-level clinical teaching experience or a post-baccalaureate teaching practice in registered nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with established curricula and class schedules.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages discussion and critical thinking.
• Evaluate student progress and assign grades.
• Meet with students outside of class as needed.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics.
• Keep current knowledge in the subject area.
• Fulfill duties of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
