Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Teaching experience at the baccalaureate level preferred.
• Eligible for an unencumbered RN license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and deliver interactive lectures based on approved syllabi.
• Prepare and administer assessments; evaluate student performance.
• Perform administrative duties related to teaching and grading.
• Collaborate with departmental faculty to ensure curriculum outcomes are met.
• Be available outside class to assist students (1 hour per 3-hour class).
