The instructor reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing and maintains office hours. The role requires an MS in Nursing, Illinois RN licensure with CEUs, CPR, and 1–2 years teaching experience; 2+ years clinical nursing exposure is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Current Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois.
• Evidence of CEUs for license renewal.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience with emphasis in specified areas.

Aufgaben

• Provide instruction (theory or clinical) to a diverse student population.
• Offer courses day and evening as needed.
• Adhere to course syllabus and approved textbooks.
• Maintain office hours and respond to emails promptly.
• Submit accurate grades and attendance records on time.
• Collaborate with clinical education partners for student supervision.
• Engage in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean of Nursing.
