Job summary

Dakota County Technical College seeks a temporary, part-time Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor to join a student-centered learning community in Rosemount, MN. The instructor will teach Clinical I and II and Foundations Lab, with a teaching load of up to 12 credits per term for the 2026–2027 year, starting August 24, 2026.

Instruction will occur off-site at clinical locations; the position is a limited-term appointment with a prorated salary range based on credits and MSCF contract

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing and/or education with a Bachelor's in Nursing if the graduate degree is not in Nursing.
• Two full-time years of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Recency: one year of work experience within the five years preceding credential field, or two years of recent postsecondary teaching in last five years.

Responsibilities

• Teach Practical Nursing clinicals (Clinical I and II) and related activities including instructional planning and student evaluation.
• Maintain professional skills and credentials and participate in college activities.
