Job summary

Qualifications

RN licensure in MA or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience, enrollment in a graduate nursing program, or a Masters degree in nursing, or a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or a Doctorate in Nursing Practice or a PhD in Nursing.
Previous teaching or precepting experience with diverse student populations (preferred).
Certification in a nursing specialty relevant to the teaching area (preferred).

Responsibilities

Deliver direct clinical instruction and supervision of patient care for prelicensure nursing students.
Identify, assign, and supervise patient care experiences to maximize learning.
Develop evidence-based teaching strategies to enhance clinical learning and judgement.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to align with course objectives and accreditation standards.
Mentor students and stay informed on clinical best practices and nursing education trends.
