Job summary

Edison State Community College is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant – Workforce Development Instructor to deliver classroom and clinical instruction on an as-needed basis in Piqua. The role requires RN licensure in Ohio, plus nursing experience and NATCEP-related training or certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care facilities.
• Must have or obtain Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification to comply with NATCEP.
• Annual TB testing is required.
• Vaccination against required diseases is required, with exemptions possible for medical or religious reasons.
• Teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and basic office software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and clinical instruction part-time as needed for the nursing assistant program.
• Ensure regulatory instruction complies with state requirements.
• Coordinate with NATCEP Program Coordinator to ensure students receive proper training.
• Schedule courses and attend necessary meetings.
• Prepare and present instructional materials and visual aids to support learning.
• Maintain student records and enter grades as appropriate.
• Promote a professional educational environment and assist in program promotion as needed.
