Job summary

Rasmussen University in Overland Park, KS is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct nursing instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Overland Park campus. No prior teaching experience is necessary; training is provided, and you can continue practicing in the field.

Instructors will teach lecture, lab, and clinical practicum courses, adapt teaching strategies for a diverse student body, and use live classroom tools to enable synchronous learning on campus or at off-site locations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 1-year clinical experience as an RN is required; 2+ years preferred.
• Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Official transcripts required for each degree earned.
• Active CPR certification required; immunization documentation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned.
• Courses may be on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations.
• Apply effective teaching strategies to engage a diverse student population.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities and live synchronous sessions.
