Job summary

Rasmussen University in Moorhead is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Moorhead campus. This role enables you to continue practicing in the field while exploring academia and mentoring the next generation of nurses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• 1-year clinical RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active CPR certification administered by the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross, immunization documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned (on campus or off-site).
• Use of effective teaching strategies and multiple teaching techniques to create a conducive learning environment for a diverse student population.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered learning including live synchronous sessions.
