Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct instructors to teach within the Nursing program. This role allows you to continue practicing in the field while sharing expertise with the next generation of nurses. Training is provided, and no prior teaching experience is required.

Courses may be on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations. You will teach lectures, labs and clinical practicum, using diverse teaching strategies and engaging students in live classroom sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• 1 year of clinical RN experience required, 2+ years preferred.
• Active RN licensure in good standing with no encumbrances.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross; immunization documentation as required.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses as assigned.
• Use varied teaching strategies to accommodate a diverse student population.
• Create high student engagement and facilitate synchronous learning sessions.
