Job summary

Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Nurse Technician on a part-time basis with day or night shifts. You will provide fundamentals of nursing care under the supervision of an RN while enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.

Expected duties include assisting with personal/restorative care, communicating clearly with patients and staff, and complying with hospital policies. BCLS certification and de-escalation training are required within orientation; prior healthcare experience is not

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.
• Nurse Tech I – enrolled in a nursing program; Nurse Tech II– level I completed; Nurse Tech III– level II; Nurse Tech IV– level III/IV.
• Certifications: BCLS required; de-escalation training by orientation end (90 days).
• Experience: None

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamentals of nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assists with personal and restorative care according to plan of care.
• Follows hospital procedures and policies; maintains patient comfort.
