Job summary

Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs is seeking a Nurse Technician to assist with basic nursing care under RN supervision. The role supports patient comfort, safety, and daily activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You must be enrolled in an NLN nursing program, complete transcripts each semester, and obtain BCLS certification, with de-escalation training required by orientation. Shift is 7pm–7am with rotating weekends; on-site at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an NLN School of Nursing.
• Must provide transcripts to Human Resources each semester.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification.
• Must complete de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).
• No prior healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamentals of nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist patients with personal and restorative care.
• Follow SRHS policies and guidelines and maintain clinical documentation.
• Maintain communication with the care team and coordinate with the RN and Care Manager.
• Adapt to rotating shifts and weekends as required.
