Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services in the Ancillary PreAdmission Testing department. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, following ANA standards and hospital policies.

Mandatory MSN, NY RN license, and NP certification; 1–3 years acute care experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MSN required; 1–3 years acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments including patient history and physical examination.
• Plans and provides care within policies and privileges; collaborates with physicians.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies according to privileges.
• Documents thoroughly and participates in education and quality improvement activities.
