Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, patient histories, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
- Initiates orders for medications, laboratory studies, diagnostic testing, and treatments within scope of practice and policy.
- Identifies alterations in patient health status and implements appropriate nursing and medical interventions.
- Diagnoses and manages acute and chronic health conditions across organ systems.
- Develops and evaluates individualized plans of care considering age-specific needs.
- Provides patient and family education, counseling, and support regarding treatment plans and health management.
