Job summary
Maryland Department of Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Nurse-Midwife to provide clinical care and oversight for the Health on Wheels Mobile Clinic in Westminster, MD. This contractual role supports the Bureau of Community Health Nursing and requires state certification and clinical experience.
Candidates who are bilingual (Spanish/English) and have prior work in primary care settings are preferred.
Qualifications
- Current certificate as Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
- One year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse-Midwife.
- Military service experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and oversight for the Health on Wheels Mobile Clinic.
- Offer consultation for the Bureau of Community Health Nursing.
