Job summary

The State of Maryland’s Allegany County Health Department seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse-Midwife to deliver clinical and health-related services across reproductive health, MOUD/MAUD, and adolescent programs in Allegany County. You may also cross-train in TB, PrEP, HEAL Mobile Unit and related inpatient services.

Requirements include current Maryland NP/NM certification and one year of relevant experience, with eligibility for state licensure and the ability to operate a vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• Current NP or NM certification issued by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• Education matched to Board certification requirements.
• Eligible to practice as NP or NM in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical services in Reproductive Health, MOUD, MAUD, and Adolescent DJS programs.
• Cross‑training and service delivery in TB, PrEP, HEAL Mobile Unit, and Massie Inpatient Addictions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care.
