Job summary

CVS Health is hiring part-time nurse practitioners and physician associates for a weekend float role supporting Jeffersonville, Sellersburg and New Albany, IN. The clinic-based position focuses on delivering high-quality care with potential for virtual visits from the clinic when volume allows.

ANCC/AANP certified NPs or NCCPA-certified PAs with active state licenses are encouraged to apply; DOT and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• One year NP experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Multi-state licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide both in‑person and virtual visits from the clinic to support positive patient health outcomes.
• Perform diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, treatment of illnesses, and coordination of care with other healthcare professionals.
• Engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive health screenings.
• Complete essential clinic operations including inventory management, opening/closing, patient follow‑up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Support a safe and efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient appointment management.
