MedMark Treatment Centers in Washington, PA is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient opioid addiction treatment team. You will assist in admitting patients, perform histories and physicals, and document in the EMR to support safe dosing and care planning.

The role requires an active WA NP or PA license, a compassionate approach to diverse patients, and successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
• Obtain history and physical exam
• Document in the EMR and enter orders for methadone dosing or buprenorphine prescriptions
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy when needed
• Monitor patient dosages in coordination with physicians and nurses
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity! Washington, PA

We don’t just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment, MedMark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. All of our services focus on helping you achieve long-term sobriety to enhance your wellbeing and improve your quality of life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
• To obtain a history and physical exam
• Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription
• To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Position Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in good standing with the State of WA
• Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
