Job summary

Sheridan Community Hospital is opening Lakeview Health Partners, a Rural Health Clinic in Lakeview, Michigan, and is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the primary care team on a part-time basis with flexible scheduling.

The NP will deliver comprehensive primary care across all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment while collaborating with physicians and staff to build a new community clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have Michigan NP license and current certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in quality improvement.
