Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Health Center in Foster City, CA. You will provide care to client employees, perform exams, procedures, and develop care plans.

Schedule aligns with Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm. Required are state RN and NP licenses, DEA registration, national certification (ANCC/AANP), BLS/ACLS as applicable, and at least three years of ambulatory or occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• State RN license to practice.
• Nurse Practitioner license to practice.
• State Prescriptive Authority if applicable.
• DEA license matching state(s) of practice.
• 3+ years of clinical NP experience in ambulatory/occupational/family or ED settings.
• BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records and documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
