Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or an appropriate discipline from an accredited institution.
• RN licensure in Pennsylvania and national CRNA certification.
• Continuing education and professional memberships relevant to areas of expertise.
• Five years full-time post-secondary teaching experience or five years full-time clinical experience, or a combination.
• Progressive leadership and scholarly productivity beyond the dissertation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Program Administrator and nurse anesthesia faculty to ensure curriculum aligns with accreditation standards.
• Organizes curriculum for logical teaching sequence and maintains student and faculty records.
• Administers anesthesia one day per week and participates in clinical instruction for students.
• Participates in admissions review and college/university committee activities.
• Mentors didactic and clinical faculty and contributes to scholarly activity.
• Embraces innovative teaching methods across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.
• Develops and implements a scholarly agenda and participates in professional committees.
