Sandhills Community College seeks a Part-Time Workforce Continuing Education Nurse Aide Instructor to plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality instruction across Pinehurst Campus, Hoke Center, and clinical sites. The role supports student achievement of course competencies and program outcomes, maintaining required records and a safe learning environment.

The instructor must maintain compliance with North Carolina Nurse Aide education requirements and Sandhills Community College policies, and

Qualifications

Current unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
Minimum of two (2) years (4,000 hours) of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
Meets at least one of the following requirements: course in teaching adults; experience teaching adults; experience supervising nurse aides.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in accordance with course objectives and College requirements.
Maintain required attendance, grade, and other instructional records.
Promote a safe, professional learning environment and ensure compliance with NC Nurse Aide education requirements and College policies.
Coordinate and supervise student clinical experiences and maintain classroom, lab, and clinical instruction across Pinehurst Campus, Hoke Center, and clinical sites.
