The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in Mishawaka, Indiana, seek a Part-Time Nurse Aide to support our infirmary with compassionate care during the 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. shift. You will assist with daily living activities and help maintain a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or elder care preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to embrace Franciscan values, including respect for human dignity, compassion, courtesy, joy, and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Helping Sisters with mobility, transfers, and safe lifting techniques.
• Measuring and recording vital signs.
• Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes to the nursing team.
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
• Responding promptly to call lights.
• Following infection-control procedures and universal precautions.
• Supporting each Sister with compassion, dignity, and respect.
