Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role in Illinois. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with safety and accuracy, while providing compassionate patient care in a collaborative imaging team.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication with the care team and patients, and adherence to regulatory requirements in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
• Current applicable nuclear medicine certification and Illinois accreditation/licensure required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols and provider orders.
• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with applicable regulations and scope of practice.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain appropriate clinical information, and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and evaluate images for technical quality.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient and imaging records.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and appropriate documentation related to nuclear medicine operations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other members of the care team.
