Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a part-time PET Technologist for our Cape Cod locations (Sandwich or Harwich). This 10-hour/week role features Sunday shifts, 6a-4:30pm or 7a-5:30pm, supporting imaging exams and patient care in a busy clinical setting.

You will operate PET equipment, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, assist with patient prep and post-exam documentation, and coordinate with Radiologists to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Must possess a state license to practice nuclear medicine.
• Must be CPR certified.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB registration required.
• Minimum one year nuclear medicine experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient in starting IVs.

Responsibilities

• Follow Shields Health Care policies to ensure patient safety.
• Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations.
• Perform all hot lab responsibilities as needed.
• Position patients for comfort and safety during exams.
• Record patient data and forward PET data to Radiologist.
• Assist clerical staff as needed.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms.
