Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technology Clinical Coordinator and Instructor for the School of Health Professions. The role supports clinical education experiences and delivers instruction within the Nuclear Medicine Technology program, averaging about 15 hours per week (0.38 FTE) for the academic year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Professional licensure or eligibility in Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience with clinical education and teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical education experiences and assign schedules at clinical sites.
• Communicate with students, preceptors, and site representatives; monitor attendance and performance.
• Provide feedback, maintain records, and ensure compliance with program/ accreditation requirements.
• Teach assigned Nuclear Medicine Technology courses and assess student work.
• Attend meetings and support consistent course delivery and student success.
