Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Graduate of a JRCNMT-accredited program.
• Certified by NMTCB and/or ARRT in nuclear medicine technology.
• Certified by Texas DSHS or Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• Must be eligible to teach clinical courses at HCC's affiliate sites.

Responsibilities

• Teach nuclear medicine courses at multiple sites as needed.
• Provide academic advising, professional development, and service activities as part of the role.
• Develop and use syllabi, plan varied teaching methods and materials.
• Evaluate and communicate student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to program outcomes assessment and data-driven improvements.
• Participate in college and department meetings and accreditation activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology accreditation

Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or ARRT in NM

Texas DSHS or Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist

Eligible to teach clinical courses at HCC affiliate sites
