Aprio's Nonprofit Consulting Group seeks a Senior Advisor to lead interim CFO engagements for nonprofit clients. You will drive financial strategy, analysis, and governance, partnering with Aprio NPCG partners and the client leadership team.

This part-time, as-needed role offers hybrid work with on-site client travel. Candidates should have 20+ years in nonprofit accounting and a track record as a CFO-level leader, with CPA preferred and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit CFO-level work.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.
• Ability to autonomously lead the nonprofit finance team and present to leadership.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interim CFO engagements for NPCG clients.
• Plan, lead, and manage engagements within the NPCG pillars.
• Mentor and oversee the Finance Director and staff.
• Coordinate ongoing communication with the CEO and governance bodies.
