Qualifications

Bachelor’s with eligible majors and one year ESL teaching experience plus TESL certificate (may be completed during first two years).
Possession of a California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing ESL instruction.

Responsibilities

Teach non-credit ESL courses, potentially online, evenings, or weekends.
Advance student equity and learning outcomes through instructional design and assessment.
Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance expectations.
Maintain records, grade assignments and reports in accordance with department policies.
