Job summary

The position requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent with experience in transportation safety, plus CDL credentials and a willingness to obtain state trainer certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, preferred.
• Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and school transportation policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing incidents, complaints and accidents and recommend resolutions.
• Facilitate safety meetings, workshops, and seminars to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide behind-the-wheel and classroom training for bus drivers per state requirements.
• Maintain safety/incident records and required documentation.
• Prepare training materials to document activities and convey information.
