Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Telemetry Technician for Progress Care. This part-time night shift role focuses on monitoring the central arrhythmia station, interpreting rhythms, and alerting the Clinical Supervisor as needed.

You will assist with order entry and support clinical staff while delivering patient-focused care. Qualifications include a basic arrhythmia course, Epic order entry training within 30 days, hands-on orientation with a preceptor, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Hands-on orientation with a preceptor and hospital-specific training.
• Must pass rhythm interpretation test with 85% or higher.
• BLS certification required at time of hire, American Heart Association.
• Experience with medical terminology and hospital systems.

Responsabilités

• Monitor central arrhythmia station, interpret rhythm slips and notify supervisor.
• Support unit staff, assist with order entry and respond to codes.
• Visualize fire panel and coordinate with Engineering to resolve issues.
• Provide information to patients, families, visitors and physicians.
