Sutter Health’s CPMC Mission Bernal is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in an acute setting. This role emphasizes direct patient care, patient and family education, and seamless transitions of care in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will possess RN licensure, BLS certification, and strong knowledge of nursing theory, safety and privacy policies. Night shifts and a 32-hour weekly schedule are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where care is provided.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Ability to work nights and a part-time schedule.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Provide patient and family education and manage transitions of care.
• Develop and implement care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare team while protecting PHI privacy.
• Adhere to policies, standards and laws; maintain timely documentation.
