Job summary

Sutter Health’s CP­MC-California Pacific Med Center Van Ness location is seeking a part-time RN to deliver direct patient care in an acute setting. You will assess patients, educate families, and coordinate transitions of care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an RN license in the state and BLS certification, with approximately 30 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ,RN license in the state where care is provided.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• 2 years of recent ICU/stepdown experience in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care including psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors.
• Foster collaboration with patients, families, physicians and other providers through timely communications.
• Maintain PHI privacy and comply with laws and regulations.
• Prioritize assignments and manage time in a dynamic environment.
