Job summary

Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Atrium East – Med/Surg unit in Chelsea, Michigan. This part-time, night-shift role focuses on delivering patient-centered care and utilizing the nursing process to meet diverse clinical needs.

Responsibilities include providing quality med/surg care to a 24-bed unit with 3–5 day average length of stay, and acting as a clinical and educational resource for the team. Canadian nurses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• At least one year of Med/Surg RN experience.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years.
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process.
• Integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.
• Care for Medical-Surgical patients on a 24-bed Atrium East unit with LOS 3–5 days.
• Shift Available: Night Shift; Status: Part time, benefit eligible (48 hours per pay period – every two weeks).
