Job summary

Yale New Haven Health invites qualified Registered Nurses to join our nursing unit in Connecticut. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises patient care according to unit policies, and may supervise non-RN staff and act as charge nurse.

Responsibilities include forming care plans with patients and families, coordinating with the healthcare team, documenting care, and ensuring readiness for discharge, while maintaining patient-centered, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis.
• Develop, communicate and document a plan of care involving patient and family.
