Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Part-Time House Supervisor (12 hours/week, nights) to help supervise nursing units and support administrative functions. The role requires MO RN licensure, 3–5 years hospital nursing and leadership experience. BLS/ACLS are required before orientation.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited nursing program completed.
• Licensure: Missouri RN license or compact licensure required.
• Experience: 3–5 years hospital nursing; leadership preferred.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS prior to orientation.
• Other: Strong communication and patient care understanding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing unit and department activities.
• Act as a clinical and administrative resource for staff.
• Represent Administration when they are not present.
• Serve as Patient Placement supervisor with admissions routing.
• Monitor ED throughput with every patient.
• Oversee staffing based on census, acuity, and staffing grids.
• Adjust staffing accordingly.
