Isabel's House - Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks, Inc. in Springfield, MO is seeking a Night Shift Child Advocate to provide daily care and supervision for children in crisis. This non-exempt, shift-work role runs Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, document daily logs, and collaborate with staff and community partners to support at-risk children and families.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass all required pre-employment screenings.
• Valid Missouri driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Schedule: The Night Shift Child Advocate position offers a set schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Isabel's House is seeking compassionate, trauma-informed, responsible individuals to join our team as Child Advocates. In this role, you'll provide daily care and supervision to children in crisis, helping create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment during some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• At least 20 years of age

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug test, TB screening, references)

• Valid Missouri driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience working with children in a childcare or residential setting

• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm, flexible, and professional in a fast-paced environment
